The Raven: Unknown Munitions Tikka Clone action coming soon?

A Howa mini has magazines and stocks... Or you could use AR15-sized magazines if you can figure out the bottom metal.

I'd love an UL, custom-quality mini action with a Tikka or Rem700 trigger that I can run a Jefferson Outdoors box mag in an UL stock..

Mini mags are average at best
Ar mags coal is too short for anyone wanting a proper custom 223.
The jeffersons bottom metal is not reliable in at least 2 of my cases.

I can't see how doing a folding mechanism in that spot would be robust enough to avoid splitting wood with a fall or drop. That will be great if it works out!

My idea for a takedown, not folder, is to have a metal insert in each side of the stock where it breaks, as make and female, and it fastens with cams similar to the Tikka bolt lugs and action. It would have to lock using some type of spring lock mechanism. The benefit is that the pieces can be much smaller diameter than the wrist or wherever it's installed, to leave more wood for more strength, and it may be less likely to be loose and rattle like a folder could be.

Someone make and test it!

Anyway, yes that scope is much smaller looking that the rs1.2. I'm excited to get mine

Raven Update !

To answer a few questions I will list some of the features below:
1. Right and left hand will be available. Current testing is being conducted on the right hand version. We foresee both left/right versions being released together.
2. Bolt and receiver will be nitride.
3. Replacement bolts will be available.
4. Integrated 20MOA pic rail
5. Wire EDM cut
6. Timed - Higbee / blunt start threads 1inch 16 TPI
7. Guaranteed head space dimension.
8. Improved US made firing pin (compatible with factory Tikas)
9. Testing is being conducted with factory and Trigger Tech triggers
10. Compatibility with barrels up to 1.200 shank diameter. This change will allow for more barrel availability. The raven will also except factory Tika barrels.
11. Machined entirely in the hardened state. The raven is a true precision receiver.
12. Compatible with Tika stock inlets.

Hopefully this helps!
