The Raven: Unknown Munitions Tikka Clone action coming soon?

Jumping in to report an opinion after seeing the raven in person at Hunt Expo:

The team at Unknown and Procision has absolutely nailed this thing. It feels like a factory tikka if not just a tiny bit better. The samples looked great, and the weight, finish, and features are a significant improvement on the original. Very much looking forward to starting a build.
Did they say the bare action weight?

Late to this party…Tikkas are known for their short magazine length in comparison to other LAs.

Will the Raven be “fixing” this issue? If so, I assume that will prevent it from using Tikka aftermarket stocks…

My understanding is that they won’t be changing it.

Will be curious to see how this stack up against Tikka’s alleged T4x

It doesn’t make much sense to make the change considering you’d lose aftermarket stock support.

What are the benefits of going with a clone over a Tikka action if the standard Tikka runs like a tank?

Allegedly Sako triggers are just as good, but you get the benefit of 3-position safeties.
Bolt release (effectively a 3-position) and more adjustability. S20 trigger is plug and play with T3x action (needs a tidbit of stock inletting IIRC) but the bottom metal needs a bit of opening up.

I would rather not have a 3 position safety because I can manage my fingers and that extra lever makes for a bigger hole in the stock for entry of debris and rain

Honest question here, and I have more Tikkas than anything else. If going a custom action/build route; why would I want a Tikka clone at $999 vs an Origin. The Origin is probably a little less street price.

The three major drawbacks I have with my Tikkas are 1, limited stocks.
2, limited triggers
And 3, limited prefit barrels

Yes, I understand that there are options in all three categories, but the options are much fewer than what you see for Remington 700 style actions/clones.

The Tikkas are a great factory rifle, but it feels like some of that is lost when the price is going to be the same or more than any other comparable custom build.

What am I missing about the Tikka/Tikka clone action that makes it much more desirable?
10 years ago, there was a limited amount of after market tikka components but now there’s plenty. I definitely never feel like I’m missing out with all the custom tikkas I put together.

No, they fit in unmodified Rokstoks and t3x factory stocks without issue. The trigger is wider, so bottom metal/plastic needs some modification in most cases.

No, see above. If anything it decrease the amount of debris that can inter through the safety by putting more stuff in the same hole.

It is nice having the safety on with the bolt open, so safety is on when the bolt is closed on a live round. It decreases the likely hood of forgetting to put the safety on because it comes off only to shoot, not for loading or unloading.

It is not needed, but there is a reason why Sako's have it and it makes the rifles manual of arms be closer to ARs where the only time it cannot go on safe is if the trigger has been pulled to drop the hammer/firing pin, meaning less cognitive load if a person uses multiple platforms.

Again, not saying it is needed, but I once heard an old man ragging on how "real operators" just used milspec AR triggers and only idiots would pay for a Geissele trigger. That is how your posts reads to me.

Watched someone ND at a NRL match trying to unload their gun. Add a tiny amount of stress, and people can’t seem to get out of their own way some times. 3 position safety would have helped.

It’s not for everyone, but the people asking for it have a valid concern they are trying to address.

‘ tards are gonna be tards
Giving them an extra switch is just going to confuse them more
