The Raven: Unknown Munitions Tikka Clone action coming soon?

Yes, we’ve been shooting them, and some of the first ones will be at Hunt Expo next week for guys to fondle.

No release date set in stone- we’re doing extensive testing to make sure guys are getting what we feel is going to be the premier hunting action available.

When can Pennsylvania guys see them?

I cant give you a direct link but its available on youtube I know that. Lookup sako/tikka action manufacturing.
Yeh I watched a few videos as what you said made no sense for production scaling, or even best practise for accurate final parts. As far as I can see they don't do what you say and it would be pointless anyway considering they would need to be heat treated afterwards anyway which completely negates any debatable benefits.

All I can find is them using forgings for the 1 piece bolts and bar stock for the sako 90 actions. I dont see them doing any different for the tikkas etc.

Awesome thanks for the response! Can’t wait to see it

Can you site a source because it would be exceptionally difficult to do so. If they mean from cutting the bolt out of the same length as the action ie wire cutting the bolt from the action and if they mean cut ***mms for the action then use the next ***mms for the bolt thats kind of redundant as metallurgy can be different through steel.

Never mind they would have to heat treat to different hardness levels to avoid galling. Which makes using the same peice somewhat redundant.
That doesn’t happen and it’s a stupid idea anyhow

So when the chinks steal technology from the US it’s a travesty, but you think it’s fine to steal a design from the Finns and all is good🤔

Yeah thats a more pointed way to put it. I was more pointing him to cite a source to give benefit of the doubt he hadnt just misread something. Im in the manufacturing space and the idea that made any sense for either a production company or any acheiveable outcome could only exist in a marketeers head not anyone that has a basic understanding or manufacturing.
