Depends. If a barrel is shot out or trashed and you need a new barrel anyways, that’s a good opportunity to not have to buy a whole new setup

I think the point is being missed here. I’m perfectly on board with having different rifles.

I’m just saying that the benefit of an interchangeable bolt face is that if you have a rifle that is in need of a new barrel and decide you want to change from a standard bolt face cartridge to a magnum bolt face cartridge, it’s cheaper than needing to purchase a new rifle setup.

Not everybody wants to pay for 2 actions, 2 stocks, 2 barrels, 2 scopes, etc.

Some people have a hard time making decisions.

Heck I’ve ordered actions and changed my mind before ordering a barrel.

Sometimes you try a cartridge and don’t like it and want something different

That's exactly why I went with a Zermatt TL3. Took me 10 min to go from a 22-250 AI to a 300 BLK. Didn't have to buy a new bolt, etc.

It's a nice feature. Is it for everyone? No.
