The Rangefinding Binocular Battle | Swarovski VS Leupold VS SIG VS Leica VS Vortex

I think I can speak for most of us, if not all, that the glass quality just does not match up to the ones we tested here.
Hmmmm. This is why reviews from people who sell the products do not get the same degree as trust as independent reviewers, which there are very few of.

The Revic BR10 "glass quality just does not match up to the ones we tested here."

Then proceeds to review Vortex Talon's instead. C'mon, don't try to F'n Gaslight Roksliders with a disengenuous response for the reason you chose not to review one of the RF binos on the market and play it off that you didn't review it because of glass quality.

Agreed!

We did do a separate review on the BLR10 that I posted... I am not trying to gaslight anyone, we explained that we did not have them for the video, but had a separate review on western hunter that we posted. I guess that just came off wrong. It wasn't just because the glass quality. I guess what I was meaning to say, is that in general, I thought the glass quality was on the mid to lower range of the RF binos out there. I really like the display on the revics, even more so than the swaros, which is just very basic.

We don't even sell the Vortex, we could get them for someone, but we have sold plenty of the Revics.

Right. I got multiple emails from outdoorsman promoting the Leupold bx 6 with a purchase link right after that "review" dropped. Felt pretty sus

Is never heard of these guys before, but I did watch the video on YouTube and thought something was amiss. Makes sense now. THEY SELL THEM! Now let’s wait 3 years and revisit this and see if the Leupolds still beat the Swaro’s and Leicas. ETA, $4000?!! Are you serious?

We do sell them, and we also sell 10 Swarovski to any 1 other brand bino. We appreciate you watching the video, but how many people here have looked through the new Leupolds? I use the EL Ranges currently, but can appreciate the other companies stepping their game up with better glass and more RF features. We just received a pair of the Vextronics, and from a shooting standpoint, I think they are very hard to beat after having some time behind them.

Have anyone made freezing test to Vortex Talon 10k binoculars ? How do they perform like -25°C / -13 F ?
I now have 8x32 Diamondback HD and the center axle on these gets stuck in the cold, so they can't be adjusted.
Now i have hard time to choose, Leica Geovid or Vortex Talon 10k. I now that Leica works in freezing temperatures but i like Vortex hud information and it works with ACE.
We don't have Vortex Talon binoculars available in Finland yet and I think the pricepoint will be the same as Leica.

I’m just a regular dude that has zero association with any brand or store. But I’ll say, I was extremely impressed with the quality of glass in the Leupold. They were on par with the Leica. But the Leupold 4k price tag has me leaning Sig or Vortex.

I want to know how they all work in the fog! It's like kryptonite to my Fury 5000s. I literally can't range 50 yards in the moisture layer.
After experiencing inability to range in light snow showers (inside 500 yards), I sold my Leica’s for the Revic.

Would be nice to see evaluation of laser performance in adverse conditions (hard to schedule, I know). Maybe in a follow up?

My Leica's were sold for the same reason years ago. Fog, drizzle, snow minimizes their effectiveness for sure.

Damn didn't know you guys were local to AZ that's awesome!

If I need anything for binos definitely will support local business.

Here is a part 2 with a couple of the other binos we were able to get in and test out with the guys. Love the discussion on here and hope people find these helpful!

Cool you came back with the additionals for comparison. Thanks for taking the time, I find the insight real helpful.

In this video we compared the five 10x42 rangefinding binoculars, that we believe, are leaders in the market currently. These are the Swarovski EL-Range, Leupold BX-6 Range HD, Vortex Talon 10k, Sig Sauer Kilo 10k, and the Leica Geovid AB+. They were evaluated on the following criteria: Overall optical clarity, edge-to-edge clarity, bright light performance, ballistic functionality, display\reticle information, ergonomics, build quality\design, value, comparable models and personal recommendation. We graded each binoculars based on a rating system from 1-10. All scores are out of 100 possible points.

Which one of these Binos have you been able to try and what are your thoughts?

Great review. Thanks for the info.

Say a guy wants to stay under $2k and have a ballistic solver and reliable warranty/decent glass? What's the answer, or are we not there yet?
