Does the perfect hunting scope exist?

It already exists, kind of, in the Leupold VX line if only it was more reliable. I really want a VX-6 4-24x52 with the TMOA reticle. It checks so many boxes…2nd focal, lighter weight, a 4x on the low end. Just too many horror stories with holding zero or returning when dialing for me to give one a try. If someone made a hunting rig similar to this with low end mag on the low end and a reticle that wasn’t a mess and was reliable…it would be a major seller
What good are the subtensions on a 24x scope if they are only accurate at 24x? I can’t say I’ve ever shot an animal or really anything other than target spots at 24xj.

I have killed several animals at full power🤷🏻‍♂️. I use an SFP NX8 4-32 and shot my bear last weekend at 32x at 650

It exists with respect to what works best for each hunter. Some folks have never had issues with some scopes, other guys swear they would give up hunting before using one of those. Functionality in the eye of a user and the user's experience, not much more to say about it than that. Honestly, and based on reading for years on this forum, guys that want to shoot at animals instead of hunt animals seem to have the most issues with certain scopes.
