I watched the first three episodes. All I could hope was that the main character would stop being angry and bursting into tears every ten seconds. Watched the second three episodes but no luck on the anger and tears. On top of that they jettisoned me to the city. All I could think was this show is going to fail quick if they don’t get us back to Montana…

The wife and I just finished it. Some of the best TV I've seen in a long time. No car chases, nobody got shot just a believable story of grief and love.

I like how they give country living a little credit, finally. Usually country folks are portrayed as under-educated morons but in this show, the city folks are actually learning a simpler, more fulfilling way of life.

Really liked the scenes when the kids were eating, and enjoying the “steak”. Then discovering it was elk. Had similar experiences with venison in our household.
Although it is going to be a hard sell to convince me the widow will live in a uninsulated cabin with no indoor plumbing during a winter in Montana.
