The Grim, from Salmon River Solutions, Q&A

Got the Grim late last week. Installed on my reaper yesterday. Instructions didn’t speak to the Rockset tube included? I didn’t use any.

Is the self timing ring enough to keep these tight? I cranked on it to get the timing right after a few tries and shim adjustments.

Difference is at shooters ear.

The goal with the Grim is staying hearing safe for *most* cartridges, and controlling recoil and muzzle rise for follow up shots. If you want something that's not as loud, it won't work as well.

And yes, that is substantially louder.

It's so insanely subjective depending on barrel length, powder type, amount of powder, terrain your in etc.

And ya I know a bit about db's after helping develop some suppressors and observing a bunch of testing.

With a good suppressor in a hunting scenario you're still hearing safe. I'm not saying someone should go shoot a can with the Grim on it at the range for 100 rounds without ear pro.

Will there be a 375 diameter for the AB raptor?

We did all of our testing without the rocksett. Buying in bulk we pay $2 each for the ampules so we include one with every purchase, in case someone wants to run the rocksett.

We actually have a full install video up on our youtube also. Not just the overview video where I look homeless.

Thanks Ken, the install video, or at least the one I watched didn’t mention Rocksett
