I'll admit I'm a fan of Elite, but regardless of the company there's something to be said for those that treat customers right. I know many of the website sponsors are in that same category.

Good to read positive customer service stories. Companies that I have heard good things about get my business. I'm sure thats the case for the majority of guys on here. We spend thousands on out gear, it had better be backed up by the company. Kudos to Elite.

Unfortunately this is often very true - just had a MAJOR off road shock company tell me they wont warranty a stripped out shock because I used it off road - REALLY?
No more Bilsteins for me!!!

Glad to hear they took care of you.

With forums like these, the word definitely gets around when a company doesn't hold up their end. As a coincidence, i was looking around for shocks. One less place to be looking now.

Ya the worst part was I was literally going 5 or 10mph on a dirt road when the shock rod came loose launching the coil spring out in front of me. Nothing like loosing 3" of lift in an instant. Just really happy id did not let go earlier that morning when I was hauling a$$ up the canyon.

Sorry for the thread hijack...

So far my interaction with G5 on my PRIME has been top notch and they have a stout warranty as well. Always good to hear the positive stories when there are so many negative ones out there.

Customer service is the most important part of an expensive purchase for me. If I have an issue and the company will not do the right thing I am done. Good to hear stories Like this. I have had similar experiences with Cooper Arms and Cabela's. I think it is extremely rare to find this outside of the outdoors industry.
