I had spoken to Ian at the Western Hunt Expo about these. I'm not sure how many they are assembling at a time. But in early Feb he said he had sent 3 barreled actions to UM before the show. I can only speculate there are still possibly stock issues or still barrel concerns. . Most everyone who ordered these I'm sure just want them done right. Going in 14 months since ordering, seems pretty excessive. Or the Marshal isn't a huge priority for them (MRC). Who knows.

All of them. There are four I believe waiting for me to get back next week to shoot. Yours is one of them.

Yes, there are a few still waiting. It has been an issue with multiple barrel companies. They technically have met the 1.5 MOA for ten round spec, but have been erratic and not at all what I find acceptable. All current rifles will have Benchmark barrels used on them. There are 2x 6.5 PRC’s, 2x 22cm’s, and 2x 6cm’s up for barrels currently. I will try to find a timeline out today- but they are being given priority

With that- anyone that would like a refund of their $300 or whatever it was- call UM and get it. Or, I am sure they will give you a deal on another rifle build.

Accuracy. Function (feed, fire, extract, eject) has been absolutely perfect.

Yes sir- same. And the 1999 was ROUGH. The MRC’s are quite good.

Agreed. My preferred barrels of the big makers.


Frustrating for everyone this has been, but what I can say is the rifles that have went to customers have been hammers and are done right.
