So how did they shoot? After our last phone conversation there was a chance of different barrels depending on availability. Were they different barrels or all the same?Several more will shot Friday- and if they are good, will go out.

While technically they are under 1.5 MOA for ten rounds (the center is 1.37), there is something going on. The barrels are from a well known company and were chambered by them. It is now trying to be ran down what is causing the issue.
$3800inI probably missed it but what’s the barrel length?
Wow, since the guy you quoted got his answer back in Feb, you're really reaching on the trolling scale. Thanks for not contributing to this thread.$3800in

Looks like the firing pin hole in your bolt is oversized. Can be an issue on hotter loads, but sounds like no issue as of now. Some guys, mainly on remington bolts, will actually bushing them for a correct fit.

if my rifle shot a 21 shot group into 1.1" with zero load development i don't think I'd care muchI have the bolts bushed on a couple of my Tikkas that see mostly SRP brass. The cratering can show up a long ways before any other sign of pressure. Honestly if I paid $3800 for a rifle I’d be pretty pissed, that looks like a very sloppy pin fit.

Yeah, I don't intend to hand it over unless they need to see it. It was actually 20 rounds, didn't realize I added an extra somewhere. There was some mirage involved as well, I wasn't being patient. The rifle seemed to prefer 109 ELDMs, but I'm running short on those.if my rifle shot a 21 shot group into 1.1" with zero load development i don't think I'd care much
send it to me, i'd be happy to look at it lolYeah, I don't intend to hand it over unless they need to see it. It was actually 20 rounds, didn't realize I added an extra somewhere. 700 223's do it. Or I should say all the ones Ive had and been around did. It was always common to have that fixed on a 700 but kinda surprised to see it on this particular rifle.Looks like the firing pin hole in your bolt is oversized. Isn’t the MRC @Bluumoon has actually a Marshall Rifle that was re-barreled by UM for some reason? If so, UM did a good job on the barrel job, but I wonder why they decided it needed to be re-barreled.if my rifle shot a 21 shot group into 1.1" with zero load development i don't think I'd care much

Must have missed it.What are you taking about? The barrel answer was addressed in this thread.
@Formidilosus, I went back to find the answer to my UM re-barrel question so I wouldn’t lose sleep tonight worrying about it. It appears that a couple other people had the same question and, in post 709, @Bluumoon said, “Can't find if it was discussed earlier in the thread, UM barreled this particular rifle, beyond that I don't know specifics.”What are you taking about?
