The brass isn’t half bad either
I just tossed 120 pieces after 9 firings mostly out of laziness

Too bad they “only” shoot 1.5 MOA.

How will I ever make due with 1.5 MOA? I took the time to cool the barrel and suppressor off by running it under cold water in the sink this time, tightened those groups right up w the lack of mirage.

Orders for MRC Marshall Rifles will resume first quarter of 2026.

I went on the UM site to put a deposit down and saw this. I wonder if you order in the first quarter of 2026 if it will be in hand for next years hunting season? Based on this years release probably not?

I believe this one was a test/problem solving done by UM. Also, it's why I haven't posted a weight as I chose to accept it knowing it was a heavier barrel profile.

I don't want to speak out of turn. Can't find if it was discussed earlier in the thread, UM barreled this particular rifle, beyond that I don't know specifics.

I thought that MRC had always been known for its hand-lapped, button pulled ultra-accurate barrels.
Odd that UM would be the putting the barrels on.

I/We wanted to give a quick update on the Marshall. We are still working to get production fully rolling. The delays have been caused by working through the validation of some new calibers for us, that being the 22 6 Creedmoor, as well as the final integration of the stock and receiver. It's taken longer than expected, but we're getting much closer to shipping out rifles that have been ordered. I had interpreted “sourcing barrels” as MRC acquiring blanks and then chambering/installing, not UM doing the barrel work. I must have been wrong. In the end, it doesn’t matter - @Bluumoon ’s rifle shoots great.

UM isn’t supplying anything. The answer was already given- but I suppose that’s too easy.

It was also stated earlier that MRC had scrapped their barrel program and were sourcing them from a very reputable, long standing manufacturer.

I was just wondering if that was just for the Marshal or all the rifles they are producing.

And if UM would be supplying more barrels to MRC.

The direction of the conversation kind of made me think that was a valid question.

And they’re not going to tell you. It isn’t just one. Right now there are Marshals with MRC, Brux, Lilja, ACE, and others. I’m sure if they can they will settle on one or two, but it won’t matter- the rifles will shoot as they should.
