I went with a spiral fluted #3. Thought about going sporter with a flared muzzle for 5/8-24 threads but liked the look of the fluted #3 better and I don’t mind the added weight for this gun.

I've talked to ACE about running the taperless contours started by preferred. The 750 contour is very easy to get sub 3#, without fluting. Even lighter fluted and accepts 5/8x24. I feel it's a good compromise. If 9/16x24 is your thread desire, then a Sp1 will work. Ace has nothing on their contour chart about a Tikka contour.

I don’t have it yet but I have a similar rifle in 6 creed that is 18” I can weigh tonight.
