Tagging in, curious to see what combo you end up with. I have a 300RUM with a proof 26" / 230's. Using H1000 and cci250's 2960FPS while breaking in.

I should have read this before I asked some scope questions! These are both the scopes that interest me. I have the same stock on my 300 Win and love it! My current build I opted for the A3 Sporter with edge fill but nearly went with the same stock again! it doesn't make much sense to change but wanted to try something different for a new build.

Would love to see the video of your likes and dislikes of the build and what you'd do different.

Ok, I have been neglecting this thread BUT, I have been out using the hell out of this rifle and will have a couple videos breaking down the components and likes/dislikes this week.

Here is a video from my recent trip to hunt Sitka deer. Becca Moffat used the 300 project to take a buck at 540 yards.

I was wrong in the video. It has shot seven animals:) Becca shot one of her Sitka deer with it.

Number 9 for the 300 project.

Shot him at 940 yards. Hit him behind the shoulder, he took off running so I hit him again. A little farther back than I liked. He made it maybe 40 yards from start to finish.

This is the 12th animal I've shot with Swarovski X5. I absolutely love this scope!
