What about using something in 28 or one of the other calibers that have better brass now?
Potentially yes. Just have to order reamers and try.

I've got a pile of ADH 28 Nosler brass and a set of wild cater dyes someplace all packed up. (Just moved) Sometime I'll have to make a few cases in 22 cal.Potentially yes. Just have to order reamers and try.
The 95smk has been showing to be fairly soft in my 22 creed. It has a rather large nose cavity and thin jacket. I just dont have enough data at the extreme ends of things as its further than I usually shoot game. Have one goat shot at 810m but didnt go necropsy due to location. Not really. I will try a straight 22UM or 22UM-30° next, probably along with a 22-06 or AI version. The real issue is optimum bullets. The 88gr ELD-M is finicky enough that depending on it isn’t the way. A 90gr or 95gr SMK with nose ring may work. The is also a potentially new bullet going to be about this year. Right now, I would still choose the 77gr TMK.

Velocity with an 80 grain smk was around 3400 and even then only about 70% of them made the target all the other ones went poof 50 yards from the end of the barrel.
It doesn’t. Get your app out and go to town. Like other speedsters, if you could make it work there’d be extra shenanigans to make it work.I wonder how well Quick Drop would work with a 90ish grain .22 caliber bullet going 3500?
We all have and are certainly entitled to our own opinion but I don't know anyone who has used a suppressor that would want to do that.Ditch the suppressor and just shoot a 22 creed with a 26” barrel. It’s not very loud with a long barrel. Definitely don’t want to practice without hearing protection but shooting animals it’s not a problem.
Yea I’m definitely in that category. I’ll never be able to own a suppressor. However I can’t imagine trying to push a bullet to 3500fps out a 20” pipe with and artillery shell necked down to 22 cal and not having a whole host of problems. All for the sake of using a suppressor when you probably only need to shoot once, maybe twice on an animal. We all have and are certainly entitled to our own opinion but I don't know anyone who has used a suppressor that would want to do that.
