Those are noticeable hang fires. I also don’t want to increase lock time that’s unnoticeable.

I have seen hang fires with 6 creed as well in srp brass.

With the better availability of large rifle primers is there any reason not to just use those?

I know a year ago or more smalls were definitely easier to find.

In a 22 creedmoor in premium brass? Absolutely not. Large rifle primers are normally thicker and seem to be even more resistant to primer flow than any small rifle primers if used.

No reason at all not to use it unless you buy into the idea that SRP’s are or can be more accurate or can handle more pressure. This is a field rifle, go for what’s going to go bang every time.
