Tested only charge weights this time. I shot 5 for a group at 100 yards. And then immediately after, shot 5 for a group at 607 yards, with each charge weight.

The speeds written on the 100 yard target at for all 10 shots of that charge weight.

These were the corresponding 607 yard groups.

The 40gr. group at 607.

Have you done a Kraft drill? Could be a good one to practice and track positional shooting
I’ve done a few of 4 circle drills? I don’t know if they’re a kraft drill though.

This was an old 6 PRC

And an old 22CM

It is unfortunate that Colorado doesn't allow us to hunt big game with anything under .243
Yeah, it would be nice if you wanted to train with a very capable 22 cal, and then also hunt with the same gun.

But as far as just killing and shootability go, a .243 is legit.

I would only say it’s a shame on the basis that you’d need another “hunting” rifle if you had a smaller bore trainer. But it’s no big deal to just hunt with a .243 which is very shootable and has a great selection of well killing bullets.

Just confirmed that I’m good for the Arbuckle, CA NRL shoot. I will plan to shoot this 22CM one day and a 7-300 NMI (it’s not built yet) the next day.

Is it worth buying the membership to be able for the earlier sign up, in case it sells out?

I actually shot my first tactical style match back in like 2013 with a 7 mag with a hinged floor plate. You will definitely be turning some heads with the 7-300 lol

No, there are spots open when it opens up to everyone. Just sign up the first day it opens up
Thank you for the heads up 👊🏼

Haha my intention will only be to get better with my equipment that I hunt with and learn as much as I can. Hopefully nobody pays any mind to me 😅😅

I can hear the match now. Pew. Ting. Pew. Pew. Ting. BANG. CLANG.
The matches I RO'd and shot last year, including Arbuckle, the differences between all the creeds and the few 7PRCs and a 300mag was very noticeable.
