2 guys 1 elk 1 trip... My god man.....

Justin and I did it this year with T1's. What would make the real difference with this pack I think is the three horizontal compression straps along with the extra CU's. Like I said this thing does look made for elk hunting

I love my BT1 as it fits my hunting stlye perfectly and I wasn't at all interested in these new packs but you got my interest with the EMR II. I really like the 2 way centre zip, probably the only thing I would change about my BT1 if I could modify it. I also like the batwings for the spotter, tripod and water bladder. Great job on this pack and although I'm not in the market for a new bag if I do decide to upgrade, or just want to try something new, this will be the bag!

Merry Christmas ladies and gents!

We do it every year (2 guys, 1 elk, one trip).

If you and your partner can carry the 120-150 lbs., this is the only way to go. Who wants to make two trips when one will get it done? I started doing this three seasons ago with my partner in MT (thanks to Aron's advice on the Kifaru pack and trekking poles) and won't ever go back to the 'old' way. :)

Don't you have the two removable horizontal compression straps for your T1? If not, they weigh nothing and cost like $20. I always keep them with the pack.
