When I met my wife (online) a friend of hers, who was one of those sort of overprotective cynical types, told my wife that it would be a good idea for safety if my wife had a copy of my ID with a trusted friend before she met me in case I turned out to be some crazy person (16 years later the jury is still out).

Ok, that's reasonable, I'll play along. So I sent my wife my ID.

Her friend then said it would be good to know what I drove.
I sent my wife that exact van picture. She sent it on to her friend. We still laugh about it all these years later. She's even still friends with her.

(And I still have the same actual vehicle that I was driving then, but it's not a daily driver anymore, more of a farm truck)
