Jesus Christ you guys. There seems to be about five or six different timeline so I don’t know what to tell you. What I read 1:30 PM this afternoon said he wrecked his truck at 11:28 he walked to the school and made entry unobstructed at 11:40. LE arrive on scene four minutes later and move to contact.
Please can’t respond if no one calls. If no one reported the car wreck maybe that’s why he walked around for 12 minutes. If no one called until the shooting started LE are not going to respond.

Part of the problem with our country. Also I'm guilty as well as only reading one thing. However multiple reports saying police are dodging questions.

Were they in the classroom the shooter was in or different part of the building?
What is recommend it is if they’re not in immediate danger they stay put, especially if the gunmen is not neutralized yet. If you have a courtyard of kids running away out in the open You just introduced a whole bunch of new targets for the gunman to shoot at from the windows.

Im sure she breeched the door the gunman had locked or barricaded...all while being fired upon. ran around the gunman...grabbed her kid and ran out of the room.

Are they "dodging" questions are not spewing unconfirmed facts out? It will all be laid out in due time...I am sure they are reviewing all radio traffic and piecing it together. Multiple reports said only 2 people were killed originally...multiple reports said that 3 different officers exchanged fire with the shooter outside before entry. Multiple reports said cops just stood outside for over an hour when in fact the exchanged gun fire approximately 4 minutes of entry. Multiple reports didn't mention he was shooting at random people outside before going in. Multiple reports said A LOT of things wrong.

Yeah, and it’s not like there’s an actual video of armed cops blocking the scene with their backs to the ongoing massacre or anything.

Lots of different timelines, statements and stories. But no one is disputing that a BP team took out the shooter maybe an hour after this started or even more. Local cops had a swat team and plenty of them were on scene. But they did not take the guy out. We all know cops have adequate firearms and body armor in their vehicles. That town spent 4+million on the pd a year. Those cops stood down. That seems to be obvious.

I am not trying to offend you, but even the New Testiment is deeply flawed and cannot be taken in its entirety. Otherwise, one would have to believe mankind is a product of incest, geology is wrong and the earth is only 6,000 years old, biology is wrong and Noah's arc was real, dinosaurs never existed, etc, etc.

Good you’re basically professional. So please tell me how many outward swinging doors (left hand swing doors) have you breached with little no tools and under fire. Pretty simple question.


This isn’t the first time a locked or barricaded door has delayed response times. Virginia Tech is another priming sample of that.

I bet the classroom had windows......see thru/shoot thru windows. But that would not be as safe as waiting for someone else to do it....bp tac team got a key (I hear) and I would think local pd and/or sro would have a master key for the door.

Shooting through windows could work it depends on a lot of things, A lot easier said than done.
I wouldn’t get too hung up on the P D not having a key. I am part of one of the few police departments that I know of that has building keys to the schools. But I agree I think most should.

You see you asked how many have forced doors and who have done it under fire. Even if they had no tools with them initially. 1 hour they waited. 1 hour. They could have went to the local hardware or fire dept and grabbed a Halligan.

My point wasn't about breaching a door it was about how long they sat around.

Sure they were getting shot at. Well little kids were getting shot, the difference the kids couldn't fire back.

We should have as much protection at our schools as we do our federal buildings. There’s an entire agency that does just that.

If they can’t get into the room they can’t kill the guy, I don’t carry any breaching tools on my person and limited tools in my patrol truck.
My point is it took time to get the keys, it took time to get the shield, the door slow them down. Did this all take too long, absolutely. Did they possibly dick this up, very well could be.

Children bleeding out for an hour who possibly could have been saved by quick medical intervention and you're sitting here trying to defend standing around waiting for an hour until someone finds keys to a door. SMH
