This spring season I am testing a Weatherby 307 Alpine CT rifle chambered in the new 25 RPM cartridge. The 307 is the newest action in the Weatherby family and is the base for a large range of rifles. This test rifle is a long action with a 22 inch BSF carbon wrapped barrel, TriggerTech trigger, and a Peak 44 Bastion stock. The 25 RPM is a sporty 25 caliber round that makes use of the heavier, modern bullets and their high BC's. It's a well spec'd rifle that I've topped with a Trijicon Credo HX 2.5-15 scope and Hawkins Precision rings. I'm excited to put it to use this spring bear season and see how it functions in the mountains.

More info on the Alpine CT can be found HERE

Curious to see what velocities end up being with 128s and 134s. These seem like a pretty well designed rifle, but would like to see a steel barrel… maybe they have one in steel that I haven’t seen.
