I wanted to get your feedback on the newest Tenzing Backpack on the market. This is their first Carbon Fiber Frame and runs $699. We sell a ton of Tenzings and have had great luck with them. I am wondering if any of you have used the CF13 and what your thoughts are on the pack. We did a review of the pack here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rs5z93Q8EMA. Have a great day.

Ok let me be the first to say that pack does not weigh 3.5#. Frame only maybe. I've put that pack on a scale and it's pushing 7#. And to say it will carry 350# isn't accurate either. At just over 3000ci it's also pretty small considering the part of the market they were trying to appeal to. And no modularity. For that price there are much better options on the market.

I don't personally have one, but was hunting with a couple buddies on a High Country WY deer hunt this year that did have them. Needless to say they were complaining the whole time that there backs were hurting and I had no problems. After the hunt was over they said they would be finding a new pack. Not what you want to hear about a $700 pack.

I remember when this pack came out and no way is it worth $700, plenty of better options in that price range. It seems like Tenzing is trying to do to much to compete in all end of the market instead of just improving what they already have. They should just look at upgrading the TZ5000 & 6000 instead of trying to make a $700 pack that apparently falls way short in performance. Not saying they're a bad company, I had a TZ5000 but couldn't get the belt tight enough, my bro used it and thought it was fine, but I've heard some bad stories about zippers and stitching on their packs. Which is what they should focus on fixing, not a new sub par pack.

Love the feedback. Thank you for your honest opinions of the pack. We have sold a number of these this fall and have not been able to get the feedback we need to adequately promote or not promote the packs to this point. Keep it coming, good or bad :-)

Doesn't appear there is any real user feed back yet. Just speculation and third party info, but I would agree for $700 there is most likely better options.
