Thanks for that ... would be interesting to see if their quoted weight includes all ropes needed for hammock config.
I ran a hammock some years back, and with long enough - and strong enough - ropes included, the full pack weight was about the same as a lightweight tent, such as the Hilleberg Akto or MacPac Microlight. That's some years ago, now though, so materials may have changed a lot!
Kammock's page above has a link to a press kit, which includes comparison weights with some tents. Will be interested to hear anyone's experiences with this.
