TENET Q/A

Is there any data/spec/info that could help me decide between No Brake, Horizon 1 Port Brake, or Horizon 2 Port Brake? How does noise change between the three options? How does felt recoil change between the three options? I'm specifically interested with regards to a 20" 6.5 PRC.

Also, what is the outer diameter of these suppressors? Answered on Page 1: 1.725" diameter.

DB and recoil numbers with each brake?

I'd use the outdoor life #s for both.

Caveat as discussed elsewhere - the left of muzzle #s aren't a good indicator of shooters ear #s especially with a brake. Their published DB #s dont specify location of meter or if there is any weighting (i.e. dba) so they are of limited usefulness IMO.

Seems like their published stuff online in concert with the OL article and diameter from this thread should paint a pretty good picture on everything except shooters ear db.

Edit: Guess there isn't the 7mm on the OL tests, figure it's between the two..

The 7 and 30 are the same length but has 7.2 for the 7 and 7.7 for the 30. Question is the 30 have bigger diameter I’m guessing

That's a lot of sifting of information and speculation on how accurate that testing was considering those were muzzle DB numbers. I also don't know if they shot it with the one port and two port brake. It seems if you're selling something tomorrow they could answer some fairly basic questions. All that said I may rill the dice anyway just to try it out.

OL results showed were for no brake, 1 port, and 2 port.

I'm kind of happy they are $1500'ish with the brake. Thats enough $ to let the impulses simmer for a bit and let others get the first run.

I see it now. Maybe I will wait for answers at that price.

Wow pricing is up on their website site , no offense, is a bit outlandish and very high for a new company. I will remain on the sideline on this one for a bit. I was looking for suppressor number 15 but this won’t be it….

They could price like airlock and not meet the demand or they can maximize margin. Don’t blame them, bet they sell a shit ton still.

I’m not so sure. Airlock wowed everyone with the size and performance of their cans. They created a frenzy. I don’t think tenet has the same excitement and I don’t think they’ll create that excitement with their exclusionary pricing.

Airlock did it right. Ride the wave of demand, keep the drops going, keep people hungry.

Its not super useful to list decibels for the 7 shot with a 6.5 CM. At 1 decibel louder than the 6.5 can, it leaves us guessing how the larger 7 can works on a typical and substantially larger 7mm cartridge such as a PRC.
