TENET Q/A

I see that the clock is up and running on your website, looks like presales start in a couple days. I know we’ve spoken through PM about this, but I’ve got to say here out in the open, the fact that we still don’t have specs or even pictures of what we’d be buying 2 days out really rubs me the wrong way. In all honesty, folks should have at least a couple weeks of mulling over what there actually buying, especially a suppressor and all that entails, before being asked to purchase. What am missing I here ??

I agree with the general sentiment and it is a deterrent IMO but who is "asking" you to purchase? Just gotta wait for more certainty and not let impulse/fomo rule purchasing decisions if you're not ok with the risk of being unsatisfied.

I 3rd the whole odd situation of zero specs or pictures out to the public and it’s 1.5 days away from presale

I think it's odd too, but as was said before no one is forcing anybody to buy one on the presale. I doubt their business model is to make a junky suppressor, list no specs, do a presale and sell a bunch due to hype, deleted Rokslide marketing and an OL test. Then once people realize they suck and call them out on it never sell one again. On the other hand, I may be wrong and this is a short term cash grab. Time will tell.

I made the mistake of being an early adopter of the Scythe (hasn't blown apart yet, but it's always in the back of my mind) so I will never again buy something brand new until a year or so later. This tactic worked perfectly with the OG, which they came out with a 'way better', their words not mine, OG6.5 directly after.

Unless you are at a point of your life where cash is flowing out your ears just wait a while and see how things shake out before ordering.

The decision to wait till today, is no way shape or form a “cash grab”. Rather, we had taken the time to have results from multiple meters, multiple locations, tons of weather days. As we all know, sound data is super “finicky” to get a true aggregate score.

Third party testing was completed. You can see all of those results. Nothing to hide.

As a gear geek myself, I understand the want for specs and sooner the better. Internally we thought the third party test would speak more volumes than anything we ever personally post. Along with the multiple people here in this thread who attended the test and are witness to the results and beleive that the numbers don’t even do justice to the shot control felt behind the gun.

Today, you will see the specs we landed on feeling good to publish. Even after all the extensive testing, we have inflated these numbers as we would rather under promise and over deliver.

If there is any hesitation, please wait to purchase until full confidence is developed.

I didn't mean to insinuate a cash grab was the case. Just trying to come up with an asinine reason why no specs were listed.

There will be PLENTY of folks who are in on the preorder, for good reason. I just won't be one of them for reasons listed above. Obviously this is no fault of Tenet so it doesn't belong on this thread, I will bow out and watch from afar. Count me as one of the folks who is excited about the massive gains in suppressor tech that Tenet and Airlock have appeared to make. If everything looks good after a bit I will own one of each.

This pretty much sums it up. Cracks me up when roksliders lose their minds for these drops, especially the ones promoted by our very own sham wow guy. Relax, see what happens, then make a decision…or else you’ll be in the suppressor for sale forum begging people to buy your OG. 😂

Dick... That hits close to home. 🤣 Moment of weakness when I got duped into the OG "tone."

I too have suffered from RS FOMO. I can now wait until they hit the field. I have more than enough gear and anything new won’t make me a better hunter or shooter. Now if they offered a free 1K of practice ammo with the pre order I would reconsider. Better yet they offered a free 3 day class AND cleared my calendar enough to attend without 15 work calls per day. Maybe a personal Sherpa to carry my gear. Right now TIME is more valuable to me than equipment. As I write this will being on a work call that has no value to me or my customers.
