Hey all,

Representing Tenet here. I apologize for not being here to answer questions sooner. The whole team is overwhelmed with emails, dms, and phone calls so we have all had our nose to the grind stone! It wasn't until we got a phone call today from a customer and them stating their is quite a bit of buzz happening on this site, that we knew any of this was going on.


I was able to read through "most" of what I was able to find.

I want to open this forum up to any and all questions, good or bad

Answer a few I seen Multiple Times:

1.) All specs will be released within the next 48 hours. This delay stemmed from wanting the third party results to made public first. We wish we could of posted results and specs weeks ago!

2.) We have had the ability to get production setup for a long time, so we have built a large inventory in preparation of this sale as we do not want customers waiting for their product.

3.) Also, all of the cans measurements posted on OL are actually a little longer than actual.
6.5mm - 4.9"
7&30 - 5.4"

4.) 7 patents- This is correct - There is still some special stuff not public yet, but will be soon!

Finally, thankful for this opportunity. I will attempt to answer all questions as promptly as I can!

1.725 diameter.

No hub on the limited and reserve. Lightweight Precision rifle cans - in our opinion/ direct thread is the only way. Tolerance stack from hub makes a bigger difference than we anticipated, but extensive testing ended up on the same conclusion every time.

Is there a slight recess at the back of the suppressor mounting surface. ?
If so what size muzzle diameter will fit ?

On OL’s spreadsheet it shows the limited 6.5 with single port break at 6.9” and 8.1oz, and a limited 6.5 2 port break at 6.4” and 7oz. Which indicates the 2 port break is both shorter and lighter, whereas on the other tenet cans with single and 2 port brakes, the single is both lighter and shorter. I’m sure it was just a typo, but was wanting to clarify. Thanks!

I emailed asking this question - I've had issues with heavier bolt lift shooting suppressed into the wind in winter months (MN). My theory is the wind into the muzzle plus suppressor and temps/humidity create condensation that makes it harder for brass to grip the walls of the chamber increasing bolt thrust.

Question is - Is there any reason to think a 30 bore can for 6 and 6.5s would have less back pressure and possibly slightly mitigate this condition?

Other question/curiosity - your cans are very light which is good for hunting/NRL hunter but for stuff like PRS, varminting, and just higher volume range shooting i assume they heat up very fast due to the limited mass of metal? Do you have any plans for heavier cans for these applications? What kind of barrel length and firing schedule restrictions do they have?

Will the 5/22 pre-order include any of the other sizes (aside from the limited) such as the reserve. Also will the limited have the ability to add those extra baffle lengths in the future (similar to the reserve which looks to be 2 separate sections similar to the scythe STM or A419) to make it "modular" to quiet it down if one wants or to shorten to OEM config? The db is just a bit loud to shoot w/o hearing protection on, as a hunting suppressor. Thank you

It appears there was typo, as if you look at recoil numbers it appears as if they got the names swapped!

I can not speak to your exact situation or solution.

However, I will say this. Our cans have substantially less back pressure than the normal precision rifle suppressor.


Yes our cans are light. However, in our testing with our patented printing process to get almost a full 10x strength to weight ratio, our cans pack a durability punch way above their weight class. Titanium still has to remain below 800 degrees, but as long as that criteria is met, you will not see issues.

One testing procedure we had was a 7.5" barrel AR .223. We ran 15 rounds as fast as possible, instantly quenching in a water bath and firing again. Repeatedly over and over for days. At 2000 rounds, we tested sound again. It meters .5db lower than when it started. Rapid heating and cooling is, in our opinion / is the best way to simulate the actual life durability of a suppressor.

We have not been able to break that can yet, and we have tried. 16" 6.5 prc as fast as you can feed it, etc etc. We performed this same rapid heating and cooling test on other products of similar weight, 16 rounds was the furthest any made it. Yes, 7.5" AR is way out of backcountry suppressors use case. Arguably the worst thing you can run for a suppressor. Massive uncorking pressure and massive amount of unburnt powder acting as a plasma sand blaster on baffle faces.

We documented the whole process via video and will be sharing those tests soon!

Lot of people shooting PRS with muzzle diameters larger than that. If not too late, it would make sense to accommodate everything up to 1.25" straight contours.

Disregard PRS comment if the below is to be taken literally. It doesn't take that much to get into 2+ thousand rounds. More info on firing schedule or barrel length restrictions would be nice.

"Duty Rated" is a different thing than thousands of rounds at typical bolt action firing schedules.

As I understand there was mention in a podcast of utilizing different materials for possible consideration in future models or designs. Will this target a specific use market other than the current hunting market ?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. That wording will be removed immediately from the website. This was a miscommunication between engineering and the marketing team. That wording does not accurately depict the products in any way. Apologies.

The Tenet suppressor in the opening scene being held next to the PTR Vent1, is that the Reserve? Just wondering because it looks like 2 pieces

I see that the clock is up and running on your website, looks like presales start in a couple days. I know we’ve spoken through PM about this, but I’ve got to say here out in the open, the fact that we still don’t have specs or even pictures of what we’d be buying 2 days out really rubs me the wrong way. In all honesty, folks should have at least a couple weeks of mulling over what there actually buying, especially a suppressor and all that entails, before being asked to purchase. What am missing I here ??
