I wanted to give people a good option for Taxidermy in my area. I didn't know anything about taxidermists in the area previously, but asked around a lot over the past year or two. One of the few people, from Sandpoint to the Silver Valley to Spokane, that I received all positive remarks about was Adam Vandenoever of Elusive Creatures Taxidermy in Post Falls, ID (208-659-9330).
So, when I was lucky enough to have some decent antlers to mount this fall, I took them to Adam to have him do a European mount. I can not recommend Adam enough from the work that he did for me. First of all, he is a really great guy to deal with! I am not sure if he is a member on this website, but he should be as he is a local boy N. ID backcountry hunter himself it sounds like (I will send him a link to this thread). Secondly, he seems to really know his craft and have a passion for it. My antlers had some broken points that I wanted him to try to repair in addition to doing the usual Euro mount, and he did a great job with all of this in my opinion.
