Taxidermy castration

So I went and picked up a full body mount of my Billy goat taken last fall. I distinctly remember him being intact upon delivery. But now he is missing the goods.
Does anyone know if this is normal practice with goats? Not a huge deal but I find it weird that changes were made without asking or explaining.

I don't think it is normal...we have multiple full body mounts along with family and friends...ball sacks all intact. How do I know...Im childish and always point them out.

No, it’s not common to remove it. If it’s not there then your taxi may not have prepped it right before tanning or didn’t know what to do with it both of which would be lack of experience or bad judgment. Call him and talk to him about it.

Im pretty sure its original hide. Bald spot where the bits should be. Either they didnt want to be bothered or maybe they werent salted and went bad. I am curious now so going to call and ask ..
