I’ve play Bergara roulette twice….ended up rebarreling / rechambering a ridge 308 into a 6cm with a brux barrel and I sold the 6.5prc I bought.
Recently bought a tikka t3x stainless in 6.5 prc and cut it to 20” and threaded it. Much safer bet going that route….. or if you hand load, you can go fast twist 243 tikka and cut/thread it

Tikka T3x stainless 6.5 PRC cut to 20” threaded 1/2x28 is what I’m planning. Got any pics of your rig? I’ve got a Banish Backcountry so should be a good set up.

I have both calibers and recently shot deer with both in the same day. 143eldx and 108 eldm. Both were dead but the 6 creed was more dead 😂 same distance, shot placement, size deer, a lot more internal damage on the creed than prc. There isn’t a wrong choice though!

I killed 3 deer with a 6 ARC and 108 ELDMs and they were super dead.

I’m just ho’ing for a new gun.

Their premier series? Doubtful. Those are handmade in georgia. Completely different than their imports.

Where did the OP say he was looking to spend the $$$ a premier series cost ??
The import Bergaras are in the same price range as tikkas and are not in the same league…
How often do you hear about tikka duds vs Bergara duds ?
So far I’m 0 for 2 on having a Bergara that will consistently shoot worth a shit… I’ve got 5 t3x in the safe ranging from 223 to 6.5 prc and they all are consistent 1/2” guns.

I’ll get some pictures tonight. Pretty plane Jane stainless t3x with a rattle can painted stock, trijicon credo 2.5-15 scope and yhm resonator.
It flat out stacks 130gr TMKs and TGKs in tiny little groups loaded with n565.

Curveball: 22creed.

You have a 6 and a 6.5. Get a 22 creed and put some whallop down range. In all seriousness, it's what you're missing and I'm saving you a step because if you got a 6creed you'd build a 22 creed for sure.

I wasn’t talking to the OP - I responded to a a guy who said he was going to buy a tikka and rebarrel it. By the time you buy a tikka and rebarrel, you are in the premier price range. Work on reading comprehension
