Taper thread adapter question

So, I have an OG 6.5 coming from the group buy. I have a couple barrels threaded 5/8" with the 25-degree sig taper. I know I can pick up an adapter to convert to the square face, the question is are those adapters small enough in diameter to fit into the reflex portion of the suppressor and what is the likelihood that the adapter gets stuck in the suppressor.

I suspect I could rocksett the adapter in place. It's not threaded and I wouldn't expect it to have the same strength as if it were, but it just needs to be strong enough to come out with the barrel.

Thoughts? If you have a tapered adapter an outside diameter measurement would be great, too.

If it doesn’t make the tennon too long, I would have the shoulder pushed back and squared up. Then you never have to worry about it.

That's a good suggestion and may be where I end up. My first suppressor has the taper so I was hoping to keep it and have the guns usable with multiple suppressors.

Serious question: Why do you want to use different suppressors on the same gun?

I’m accustomed to the inverse; one suppressor, multiple guns.

Well that's where I was at for a few years - one suppressor multiple guns. I bought another suppressor so when I take a kid hunting we can both be suppressed. So I have a few guns (my most used ones) that were set up to use that suppressor. So now I'm trying to maintain compatibility with the original suppressor and use the gun with the new one if I want.

I've been using a CGS muzzle device (sig taper) to allow direct thread ⅝x24 cans on a ½x28 AR barrel. No issues using standard square shoulder cans (with AB's blessing) on a tapered shoulder. I had planned on having a square shoulder machined on if needed, but it's been just fine.

Oh, interesting, I should reach out to US and see what they say. That hadn't occurred to me as a possibility.
I’ll check the OD of my Q taper adapter when I get home in a few days
Thank you.

My buddy used this one from KAK and he measured it for me but it's 0.8".

I forgot my OD calipers at work but the Q taper adapter won’t fit inside my OG 30 . I definitely wouldn’t run any regular threaded silencer designed for a squared shoulder up against a tapered barrel . You can damage the barrel taper that way .
