Ryan, you like the 143's? Plan to use them at all or just getting some rounds through the rifle? Thanks!

Probably not, Tanya has shot two deer with the ELD-X and I was not as impressed as I am with the ELD-M or Bergers.

With the 1/7 twist and proof four groove barrel, I am nervous about shooting 147 ELD-Ms. I am going to try some 156 Bergers and some 142 LRAB and see how she likes them with VV-565

That's my concern as well and why I was asking about the 143's. We just built two similar rifles to Tanyas. 1/7.5 4 groove 24in proofs on them. My builder used a Muller modified lands profile on them to help with the issue but I'm still really nervous as I'm pushing the factory 147's around 3k on both and not quite broke in yet. I haven't had issues yet but cant afford any problems on a hunting rifle.

Love this build. I have been looking at a clymer stock- looks like its a winner. Does the negative comb work as advertised?

That 10 shot group is impressive.
