Take the other screw(s) out.If the base is flat- I could see that working. But most of mine are concave- how would you get it off?

You’re going to have to come over and show me! I understand how basic screws work was just posting this up to see if anyone else has head a head pop off like this. Thanks for the feedback though.Cute screw head but not what we needed to see. Let’s try again. Take the base off. That means unscrew the other screw and take the black thing off of the rifle’s action. What you should see is the remaining screw stud sticking up from the receiver (the part of the gun). Carefully put a pair of locking pliers (vice grips), narrow nose if you have them, on what’s left of the screw stud and twist it counter clockwise.
Take it to a gunsmith. You’re going to have to come over and show me! I understand how basic screws work was just posting this up to see if anyone else has head a head pop off like this. Thanks for the feedback though.

Apparently only one, but if you had asked me that a few hours ago I would have guessed a whole lot more. How many Roksliders does it take to unthread a cap screw?
