Anyone have any recommendations for quality clothing for legitimately tall sized guys? Seems most companies are listing tall sizes and its for people that are 6ft, I'm talking like 40" sleeve length, 2xl tall sized clothing and at least a 36" inseam pants. I realize it is quite a minority so not a big (no pun intended) market, but thought it was worth checking out what other guys use or have experience with. Have a kodiak trip planned for 2027 so hoping to find some quality raingear especially.

On the pants front, I've had good luck with Kings Camo giving me adequate length in their tall sizes. I wear FirstLite merino hoodies as my base/mid layer and the sleeves have been long enough for me. I am 6'6 for reference.

That is helpful! I'll have to check it out, all the sizing on everything seems to be so inconsistent! My non-hunting is pretty much all Carhartt 2xlt as the shirts fit well and hoodie sleeve length is the best I've found.

I wear a lot of LT, XLT, and 34" inseam clothes. Not quite as tall as you. 6'2"-6'3".

For hunting clothing, it's mostly Sitka and Cabelas for me due to what they offer for tall sizes, but that's 34" inseam.

I also have quite a bit of LL Bean and Eddie Bauer for casual, upland, and outerwear.
LL Bean does offer 36" inseam in a variety of pants.

Eddie Bauer, Arctix, and Ariat offer 36" inseam in some of their technical pants.

King's offers 35" and even 37" inseam in some pants.

First Lite's tall inseams for some of their outerwear is 34-36" for large-tall and 35-37" for XL-tall. Other pants they only offer up to a 33" inseam.

To me it often feels like tall sizes from various companies come and go so when I find something I like and it fits well, (Sitka Jetstream jacket and Sitka Dakota pants for example) I buy 2-4 of each piece.

I did also find this older post that might help you out. The OP in the post is 6' 7" "built like a football player."
