First off I love these bags!!!! I had a hind quarter that had a broken bone ( bad shot whole nother story) and it ripped a hole in on of the bags. How is the best way to repair these bags? Also what is the best detergent combo to use to clean them?

I hand sew rips in my bags. No fancy stitches. Use white thread.

I wash in sent free detergent same as all my clothes. Still some blood stains and meat smell. Might use oxy clean next washing.

I hand wash or throw in the washer with just a 1/4 cup of bleach.

I have run chewed corners through my sewing machine. I hand stitched some and had blow flies squeeze between the stitches, so if done my hand make the stitches tight.

After having a few bullet broken bones poke holes in my bags. What I do now is remove the broken bone piece at the next joint before I bag my quarter.

Add a bit of bleach when washing. They should come out white and clean. Ive had me first set for a few years now and they still look brand new.

soak the bags in oxi clean or bleach for a few hours before washing, then wash in cold water only, then hang dry.

sew the bags with thread and needle, but you might fold the material once before stitching to make sure the nylon holds tightly.

agreed, remove sharp bones before placing in bags to prevent tears.
