bringing this post out again...i also picked one of these in 6.5 cm on sale in the last month. comes with a 5/8x24 adapter, but can't find the specs on the barrel thread itself?? anybody know?? looking to put a can on it and wondering if i can eliminate the adapter. thanks

The threads should be 5/8x24 on the barrel.

What do you think of the rifle so far?

This is what I found when I was looking at these. I run a Thunderbeast Ultra and they make brakes with M15x1 pitch, so no need for the adapter. I ended up with a Roughtech Ranch and that is 5/8x24 on the barrel.
the first half of your reply is where im going with this. Bought a magnus CB with 5/8 24 brake before i had the rifle. Originally planned in going with an Ember which is has the 5/8 24 barrel thread. then i saw the super lite on sale around Thanksgiving and decided to save the $$. emailed TBAC and for nominal fee they will exchange the brake so im going to switch out the 5/8 24 brake for a m15x1 and eliminate the adapter that came with the superlite.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago because the price made it hard to resist and because I had never owned anything in 6.5 manbun.

Boresighted it at the house and took it out and shot 0.5" and 0.75" groups with 2 different factory loads. There is no drama with a Tikka. Haven't killed anything with it yet but very happy with how it shoots.
