T1X 22 vs 17

22 is the ultimate plinking round. Fun little caliber to shoot. 17 gives you a little more range but costs more. I don't think there is anything more fun to shoot than a 22.

I have both a .22 and a .17. The .17 is a T1x and it is a great little setup. I love it for groundhogs using a 20 gr XTP.

Wrestling this same debate and leaning towards .22 just because of cheap plinking and small edible game.
If they had a 22wmr option it would be much harder. An accurate WMR is simply hard for me to resist.

I’ll probably end up getting both at some point because thats how life should be!

I think I’m gonna start with a 22lr tho.. something about shooting a lot and suppressed rabbits/squirrels in my backyard!

The 17 is beyond quiet enough with a suppressor as well.

You can buy 17 fmj if you want to eat what your shooting.

I have both. 22 is used for targets, 17 is used for killing stuff.

If I could only have 1 it would be the 17, no question.
