Pretty crazy news that T-Mobile will off this to Verizon and AT&T customers for $20 a month after the beta period ends in July.
Think you have to sign up and be selected as a Beta until July from what I read, after that it’s open to all.So it's free to use until July, then 20$ a month after?
Will this just let people text with no cell service, or calls too?
I'm seeing $15/mo with an early signup discount that takes it down to $10/mo.So it's free to use until July, then 20$ a month after?
I made the switch before hunting season. It is just as good if not a little better than Verizon. How is T-mobile service these days? I'm about wore out with Verizon pricing.
Unless you have their top tier unlimited plan, then it’s included.I'm seeing $15/mo with an early signup discount that takes it down to $10/mo.

I switched 2 months ago from Verizon just because of this. So far so good testing the satellite texting. I don't know that it will completely replace InReach/Zoleo yet, but dang close.Pretty savvy move on T-mobile's part. This ought to give Verizon and ATT a sense of urgency to get this going on their end, or risk losing customers.
Service is about the same..Tmo actually bought the old VzW 700MHz spectrum, it propages better, just not the same band width. How is T-mobile service these days? I'm about wore out with Verizon pricing.
Yes only certain models of phones, they are listed on the Tmo page.Is there any phone requirements for this to work?
Their satellites were launched late last year. They both chose AST SpaceMobile.Pretty savvy move on T-mobile's part. This ought to give Verizon and ATT a sense of urgency to get this going on their end, or risk losing customers.
Fingers crossed it comes soon. T-Mobile just sucks here. My brother and I will be hunting not far from anything and my Verizon has 3 bars. He(T-Mobile) can’t send a text, let alone make a phone call.Their satellites were launched late last year. They both chose AST SpaceMobile.
