I picked this one up a couple years ago and stuck it in the safe since I didn't have the spare time to play with it. I have recently found the much-needed time to thin out my firearms. I realized that I have plenty other Encores and 270's so I'm gonna let this one go to create some space in the safe.
The action, barrel, and FlexTech furniture are all in great shape. I recently put a Leupold VX-2 on it and ran a few rounds through it to satisfy my curiosity. The trigger is great, and the Hornady Superformance 140 gr SST's held around one MOA @ 100 yards. I do like the 270 cartridge, and it wouldn't take much to convince me to find room to keep this one.
