SWFA vs Tasco Super Sniper

I purchased what I thought was a side focus SWFA SS 10x42 scope on another forum. The scope doesn’t have any logo on it. Today I realized a small label on the box and the instruction manual say Tasco. So I guess I didn’t get an SWFA scope.

Are there any differences between the SWFA and the Tasco Super Sniper scopes? Were the Tascos made to the same standard? How irritated should I be with the seller?

If it was advertised as an SWFA and you didn't get one, I'd be pissed regardless if they are built similarly or not.

Looking back at our messages, the seller was vague. And there was a photo of the box. If I’d zoomed in I would’ve seen “Tasco” in tiny letters. I’m disappointed mostly because I’m assuming no warranty support.

Looks like mine is from the SWFA era and is covered by warranty. No worries on my part, although it never hurts to give a buyer more info rather than less.
