SWFA scope cap issue

I received a new SWFA 2.5-10x32 today. Got it mounted up and happened to take off the elevation turret cap. Twisted it off, went to turn it back on, and it won’t tighten up. Feels like it’s stripped even though I didn’t put any type of tension on it at all. I try the windage cap on the elevation turret and it’s the same thing. I grab another one of these scopes out of the safe and the threads look different and it is snug like you’d expect. I try those caps, and it’s the same thing. So, very unfortunately, it’s the scope, not the caps. Anyone have this happen? Will be calling SWFA in the morning.

I received mine a couple weeks ago and mine was the same way. I sent it back but haven't placed a new order. After hearing this I might go a different route. U thought mine was a fluke.

I had the exact same thing happen on a 2.5-10x I just ordered. I bought it because I had warranty return credit, and even after having to return the defective scope they still won’t give me my credit back.
