And to think Stick used to be a Leupold shill.No. If people are sensitive or say (post) stupid things, he calls people out. We don’t agree on everything, but I find the more people shoot and kill, the less we disagree… It only took me a few weeks to get @Ryan Avery off the MOA train and step into the dark side.
Yep. I remember when the 3.5-10 used to be the scope de jour. And don't forget Talley LW's.And to think Stick used to be a Leupold shill.
And for those that would dare to question the quality of Leupold and Talley's there were harsh words for them. He was 100% certain that he was right, and that they were couch dwelling pretenders. Chortle.Yep. I remember when the 3.5-10 used to be the scope de jour. And don't forget Talley LW's.
I don't judge to harshly. I was similarly afflicted at one time.
Can't answer your question honestly because I don't personally know the guy in the video and haven't interacted with him online. I look at videos like that as comedic relief or an anti meth commercial. Why is he throwing his rifle around like some kind of child throwing a tantrum? I can also hit a 10 foot by 10 foot steel wall at "900 yards". Is this satire?
No doubt. Humility doesn't really seem to be BS's thing. At least on line. Maybe in person he's more affable? Why is he throwing his rifle around like some kind of child throwing a tantrum? I can also hit a 10 foot by 10 foot steel wall at "900 yards". Is this satire?
At one point I had about a dozen sets in service. I had a couple sets crack where the ring screws fit. One was a top strap, another bottom cracked where the screws thread into. I had moved away from them before I noticed the damage. Some sets had rather poor base to receiver fit, and some were poorly aligned with each other on actions where other bases were aligned. Also, for a long time they were designed to be egg shaped, wherein the scope would actually push them into round. Some have good results with them, but they are meticulous about mounting, as in they bed the bases and lap the rings.Since when are Talley LWs no good? I didn't know they were on the same plane as Leupold

Talley LWs with the single top screw, double stop screws, or both?Quite a while. I’ve personally seen 7 or 8 with cracks. First one was probably 2011’ish probably.

Who? John Burns? LOLI’ve seen several distinguished marksmen call him out to compete with them. Never once have I seen him “oblige” them. Several know as much as him, all less arrogant.
