I’d just use a ranger band so you don’t have another protuberance hanging off the scope.

I think I'm up to a half dozen sets of SWFA rings on hunting rifles...never a hint of an issue. I'm usually one to avoid buying Chinese when possible but 34 bucks for rings that do the same exact thing as $200 rings is a no brainer. They are just like their scopes, no frills and STOUT

I got one years ago with a 1-4x SS during a sale. It was fine, nothing special, but no issues with it.

Like the rings, they work, but are not pretty or light. Mounting and torquing correctly is likely the most important factor with ANY 1-piece mount.
