Rings for Ruger American with SWFA 3-9

What rings will hold zero mounting a SWFA 3-9x 30mm on a Ruger American? What height? Should I take the factory rail off to bond it or at least degrease and paint pen the hardware?

I've been using Monstrum rings on my Gen II 6mm, they have not shifted. Decent rings for the price.

Every American I’ve had has been an oily mess under the rail.

Yup I plan to I can see oil oozing out. Will bond to receiver

Any input on the steel Warne rings? Looks like they’re 5oz which isn’t much more then the really nice aluminum options

I’ve had good luck with Maximas in the past.
Never really “tested” like a lot of guys here, but completely worked for my use.

I will echo what @Weldor said above.
I’ve had Monstrums in the past and they have worked for me.
