I would think you could do a turret tracking test while using the flashlight method to detect mismatched dial-to-reticle.
But please keep us posted on your findings

Yes, a level on the brass shows the same amount of can’t.So long as the reticle tracks perfectly vertical with itself I would say that’s acceptable and more common than people think or see.
If you pop the turret cap off and set the level on the scopes internals is it the same?
so even though the reticle had a cant to the turrets when you had it mounted with the reticle level it dialed elevation and windage correctly?update: scope passed the tall target test
cheers I have the same issue with a 3-15 I got imported to Canada and therefore don't think I could have warrantied. I'll test it out, drives my OCD a bit crazy but I guess all that matters is it functionsI think it has to be something with machining tolerances, I’ve done a tall target test and I have since shot out to 500 yds multiple times and everything seems fine
I had a leupold vx5 in the past that had this issue but it did not track properly, just run it through some tests and see what happens, hopefully it works out!cheers I have the same issue with a 3-15 I got imported to Canada and therefore don't think I could have warrantied.
