SWFA 3-9 Low Profile Turret Interest

I’ve been communicating with a company about making a low-profile turret option for the SWFA 3-9. Something as short as possible, with no wider ridged section, aluminum, anodized black, and laser etched for MILS. This is the picture I gave to them for a rough approximation of overall shape.

It will also be a fully reversible change , as the low-profile turret will be able to be removed and replaced with the stock turret. Windage and elevation will both be available, and able to be purchased separately if you only want one. We have worked out a rough price point - I’m not going to disclose it yet in case it changes, but it should be comparable to other custom turret options.

I want to be clear, this thread is simply to gauge the interest and see how many potential customers there would be. I don’t have any prototypes, there will be no presale, this is very early stage. The company is currently working on getting me the lowest possible minimum order quantity. As a private party, there’s a decent chance I won’t be able to meet that MOQ - then at least I can show this thread to the company in hopes that they will produce the turrets anyway.

So, who would be interested in a low-profile turret for the SWFA 3-9? And let me know how you would buy: set of both, just elevation turret, or only windage turret.

The 3-9 turrets are different than the original fixed powers, so this specific turret wouldn’t work. I haven’t opened up a gen 2 fixed power or a 3-15 to know if they’re the same.

Based on how this goes, I could see something similar for the fixed powers eventually being available.

I'm in for both turrets as well.

Any idea if they will be the same as a 10x HD? The way they attach is the same with the top screw but I don't know if there are differences in the internals.

I don't own a 3-9x (yet), but I may be in for a set on a 6x if that becomes an option. Price dependant.

If I did acquire a 3-9x, I would most likely be in for a set of these.

Gen 1 fixed 10, no. I’m not sure yet about the Gen 2 turret system compared to the Gen 1 3-9.

Bummer. The only thing I dislike about my gen 1 fixed 10 is how obnoxious the turrets are. If they make it work for the gen 2 I might have to pick one up and replace my gen 1

There’s a lot of Gen 1 fixed powers out there - if we can make this work I’m sure we can work out a turret for those too.
