Swarovski Z5i+

Looking for a lightweight scope for my 6.5 PRC and stumbled across the Z5i+ from Swarovski. Love my swaro binos and spotting scope but haven’t really looked into the riflescopes. I like weight SFP and the weight but the reviews I’m seeing are real hot and cold (Yes I saw the drop test). Any real world experience with it?

I’ll have mine on Tuesday and on a gun on Wednesday. By the weekend I’ll have some shooting in and load development. Prob wont have any kind of durability info to report back. I guess I could always smack it around but definitely not going to drop it multiple times from 36”. From those I know that have the new Z5 plus have had no issues and have been rock solid.

I pick up one this fall in 5-25x56, and it's really clear and tracts very well. But in hindsight I think I would have gone with a different scope. The weight is the only thing I don't like about it, everything else are just what one would expect from Swarovski. But It's on me as I knew the weight before I brought it, and although there is some liter scopes out there but for the most part most companies are right at that weight. Hope this helps.
