What do you guys think of the price increase? Gr8ful Doug and S&S archery are sending notes out. I was going to wait until next summer to get some EL8x42 TAs, but I guess it’s time to bite the bullet. I’ll use them mainly in Idaho and NV.

How much do you think prices will go up? It looks like the tariff is 25% on Austrian goods right now.

Didn’t they just go up a few months ago too? At least they did in Canada. I think the ATC went from 3.3k to 3.9k

Edit - looked it up, that was just a Canadian increase due to our weak dollar

I saw the CAD increase when I was trying to see what the USD increase would be. I imagine the CAD prices will stay the same

All of the prices of optics are going to go up across the board. It just isn't as noticeable when your garbage Vortex Diamondbacks go up $12.

I have a couple of Swaro's, and I say a big negative to that price comment.

I was eyeing the 14x52NL......but no longer, due to the $350 price increase.

I already have the 8x42NL and the 12x42NL......so the 14x52NL was more of a discretionary purchase, which I can certainly do without.

Right now it’s going to the government similar to a tax, but if the Supreme Court doesn’t overturn the fed court saying it was unconstitutional then the government will have to give back some absurd amount to companies. My question is, are the companies going to send the tariffs to the customers that paid the increased fees due to the tariffs?

No. Seems like the 32 NLs went up by $350, the 42NLs went up by $200 and the 52NLs went up by $350.

Same thing that happened to "if you don't like the price, buy something else". If they just sit on the shelves prices will go down, same as it's always been.
