Swarovski NL Pure 14X52 Tested and Reviewed

How are they hand held? Thinking about running them as my main bino
I'm currently doing this until I can afford a pair of the 8x42 model. The 14s are rough in-hand. I can glass with them all day on a tripod, but it only takes about 5-10 minutes in the hand before my eyes and head begin to hurt.

The Little Brown Santa Claus (UPS) just delivered my 14x52 NLs this afternoon.
I’ve been wanting these for a long time. This is my first NL though I have run a variety of ELs for 20 plus years.

First thought is how the ergos absolutely destroy any bino I’ve ever owned. The 10x50 EL feels heavier and bulkier than these 14x52-and by a considerable margin. In fact, the 10x50 EL feels like holding on to a couple of metal pipes compared with the NL?

Next is how bright and how forgiving the eye relief is on these compared to any other high magnification bino I’ve owned?

Words fail me. I’m gonna be running these all winter in S Idaho, N Nevada and in the Tetons getting to know them better.

I’m grateful to Rokslide for all the reviews and forum threads about the various Alpha Glass that they provide these days.

Thank you!
