Unless you have unlimited budget the EL 8.5 are my pick. Amazing glass that is barely different than the NL. If you have the funds and you don’t ever want to question you have the best glass then by all means buy the NL.

There's a pair of Swarovski 10x42 NL Pure - like new in box. $2800 shipped and paypaled in classifieds...That price is good imo..Disclamer : I dont know the dude (not that it matters) , please do your due diligence before sending money to anyone...

I have a pair of EL 10x42 (Swarovision version) and I can't imaging seeing anything more than I can see with them. I prefer the design to the NL's, which I found too skeletal in my hand (to be fair I've had much more time with the EL's and actually paid for them, so there may be some confirmation bias here). Some people complain about the rolling ball effect when panning, but I don't pan much so haven't really noticed it.
