For sale is a Swarovski SLC 8x56 Model 58283 from my personal collection.
Condition is like new, they have been stored in my safe and only used indoors. I had the manufacturer tighten up the hinge (see condition report in the photos) and do routine service in January 2024 shortly after I purchased them.
The SLC 8x56 was built by Swarovski for one job above all others, first and last light. If you hunt mornings and evenings from a stand or a blind, the SWARO 8x56 has been the European low-light standard for decades. Nothing is easier to hold steady or easier on the eyes in the near dark.
What you're getting, and why it costs what it does new (~$2,600 to $2,800):
I bought these new from an authorized US Swarovski dealer in October 2023. They are in like-new condition, never used outdoors. Glass is flawless, no haze, fungus, or scratches; body is clean with no wear. Focus and diopter are smooth, collimation is dead on. The full original kit is included, and the Swarovski lifetime warranty transfers to you.

Manufacturer's details below:
The Swarovski SLC 8x56 Binoculars (#58253) are an optimal optic for searching for wildlife when the animals are most active, during twilight, due to 93% light transmission. This is enhanced by their 56mm HD objective lenses, which have edge to edge sharpness and light response. The SLC 8x56 binoculars are perfectly balanced, so long viewing sessions don't wear out your arms, while their generous 23mm eye relief do the same for your eyes. Their field of view of 400' at 1000 yds adds to their searching capability. As with all SLCs, they are rubber armored, waterproof and nitrogen purged.
